I find cold starts much quieter on e85 than 91 on a loud setup which is an added bonus. I also find the tone and volume when warm a bit rowdier on 91. The air fuel ratio in the tunes being altered likely play a part in that among other things. Is it just me or maybe my set up , but has anybody else experienced a significant change in their exhaust tone when flipping back and forth from their 93 to E85 tunes ??
my E85 tune seemed a little more raspy and had just a hint of 2k drone and my 93 was a little deeper smoother and no drone at all ...Is it just me or maybe my set up , but has anybody else experienced a significant change in their exhaust tone when flipping back and forth from their 93 to E85 tunes ??
I just posted on this a few days back. My 93 tune and stock tune both sounded nastier than the dedicated E85 tune. It hardly crackles and pops at all with E85. Additionally, the whole car seems to run smoother on E85. I actually might prefer the 93tune driving experience more. Haven’t loaded flex tune yet.
