Tune change = Exhaust tone change ??

Is it just me or maybe my set up , but has anybody else experienced a significant change in their exhaust tone when flipping back and forth from their 93 to E85 tunes ??

I find cold starts much quieter on e85 than 91 on a loud setup which is an added bonus. I also find the tone and volume when warm a bit rowdier on 91. The air fuel ratio in the tunes being altered likely play a part in that among other things.

my E85 tune seemed a little more raspy and had just a hint of 2k drone and my 93 was a little deeper smoother and no drone at all ...

I just posted on this a few days back. My 93 tune and stock tune both sounded nastier than the dedicated E85 tune. It hardly crackles and pops at all with E85. Additionally, the whole car seems to run smoother on E85. I actually might prefer the 93tune driving experience more. Haven’t loaded flex tune yet.

... not that it sounds bad to me on e85 just different and definetly different on the butt dyno ...lol .... curious what and if any difference on your flex tune.

Your not alone in that thought. Tine changed for sure between them on my tune. Ive been on e85 dedicated for a year now and love it. Never going back to 93.

When i first flashed the e85 tune I instantly noticed it was quieter when I left the gas station.

Not to e85 but when I switch tunes from my daily driving tune to my more aggressive race tune my exhaust does seem slightly louder but that might be due to more fuel or timing.
