Got my VIN a little bit ago. Apparently there was a phone mix up. Still nothing in cotus, however. I was told this week. I don't see that happening.

Yeah I dont have any hopes of getting a VIN anytime soon with the plant shutdown (for the holidays) right around the corner. I'm looking at a February (hopefully not late Feb.) delivery

I just planning on doing the Roush axle-backs (non-quad tips) - not doing much more modding than that (other than visual stuff like tinting and upgrading the rest of the lighting to LED).

I'm stationed in Fort Huachuca, AZ but I didn't want to deal with Lawley Ford in Sierra Vista so I ordered my car from Holmes Tuttle in Tucson. I will be picking my car up next month once I get back from deployment and I want to get my windows tinted asap. Do you guys recommend any places in Tucson that will tint past the legal limit and will do a good job.

Hey DanFish. Any of the cars I've bought or my family has bought have always gotten tint done by The Specialists. They can go as dark as legally possible and they're less expensive than the dealer. The only reason I'll be using the dealer for tint this time is that I worked it into the deal.

Thanks for the welcome Millgeo5! One question right now, you mentioned you got a Ford Racing Sport Catback on your GT. Is this a GT specific exhaust? The only thing I'm not thrilled about with the ecoboost is the exhaust sound. I'm looking for an aftermarket that'll produce a deeper growl instead of a higher 'tin' pitched sound. Any suggestions or ideas?

Update: All the time I spent looking on COTUS was wasted because I had the wrong VIN. My car is in Phoenix right now. Expected deliver is on the 6th. Kind of excited.

Picked up my car last night. There is a problem with the carpet that the tech found. It will be replaced as soon as they get a new one in.

The problem? There's a spot on the passenger side foot well that looks like some one shaved my carpet. Just weird.

Other than that it's all good. Just need to get used to the clutch. Very springy. Wants to come back very quickly.


edit: On the way to pick up my car I saw a Triple Yellow Mustang heading southbound on Alvernon a little after 4pm. 1st new Mustang I've seen in the wild.
