It never occurred to me until a few days ago how ugly the stock spoiler is when I parked next to a GT with the performance package and spoiler delete lol. Now is there any chance I could order trunk lid I guess is what it would be from FORD or somewhere online? I've seen a few on ebay but they're either beat up or have this carbon fiber pattern on them

Yes, from Ford is the best option. Talk with your dealer. There is a guy on here that is a ford salesman and will give you a discount. I'm sure some one will pop in with his name. I believe they come unpainted, so you will need to arrange for that. Through your dealer, or maybe you know someone local.

Good luck!

Or find someone willing to trade who has the same color but a spoiler delete?

It doesn't look that bad! It's subtle as far as most spoilers go... I do love the look of the spoiler delete though.

What you could do is, if you want a black roush looking spoiler, get the MMD ones by Foose that fit in stock spoiler holes. You will have a nice black spoiler and won't have to drill a thing

I second the foose spoiler suggestion. That one looks outstanding and is less than half the price of replacing the entire trunk lid. You can also buy them pre painted from American muscle.

Interesting how everyone have different tastes. I had a '15 EB non PP with the spoiler and I love it. End up trading in for a '16 EB PP with the spoiler delete and I want it sooo bad. I can trade with you if yours is the same color as mine (Competition Orange).

Also using the spoiler to close the trunk doesn't dent anything.

I agree.. spoilers are fugly. You can trade with someone, buy a factory trunk or get an aftermarket carbon trunk lid... maybe in combination with a carbon hood.

I am going to get badge delete front fenders also... unless someone with a non gt wants to trade, which I dont think they would.

Different strokes for different folks
I did just the opposite. My car came with small blade spoiler and I bought the larger size GT spoiler but in Black to off set the Orange.
Easy as pie to install and looks ZILLION times better!

The back of the Mustang is BORING as hell with no spoiler @ all. :amen:

I have the Ruby Red Metallic GT PP and I want a spoiler. Thought about going flat black as well to match the side skirts. Unless somebody wants to trade trunk lids.
