While washing the GT today, I found a small paint chip. I assume that there's some degree of flex in the blade spoiler when the trunk is closed...causing this chip. I may have found a fix.
I loosened the nuts at the far edge of the spoiler and was able to pull just enough to put a plastic razor blade, underneath to hold the spoiler out of the way to touch up the paint. I originally planned on putting some paint protection film underneath but had another idea. A small piece of 3M Emblem tape was also able to put under the spoiler but using the end of an X-Acto knife. I figure this will keep the paint from chipping again.
