I have been using TrueCar to project pricing on 2015's, still have not pulled the trigger, and the numbers are pretty good. TrueCar does roll in the cash back and other incentives most of the time.

Another thought, and I am not sure if anyone has tried this, but I am thinking of a Reverse Auction. This means that you send your build sheet with all the options to the dealers and they put their best price out there, dealers don't each others bid, they just have to put the best price out there.
Truecar is somewhat like that, but I have specific options that I want in my build.

Anyone ever gone this route?

Yes that is the best way to buy a car. It's how I got significantly under invoice. Just be firm, calm, and keep walking away until you get what you want and make damn sure to agree on just a price before rebates and trade ins or whatnot.

Then with the best price, go back to other dealers and repeat until you get the lowest price.
