Trolls Who Own Mustangs

In this week alone, I have seen something which I have never thought I would see a Mustang owner do. First incident is when a guy pulled up next to me in a V6 base convertible and started asking me questions about my rims and drop. I knew what kind of model he had, but I thought I humor myself and ask him. He tells me it's the "V8 version" and he wanted more "sound to come out of the back". As I drove behind him, he would gun it every time to make me assume it has the V8 growl...but based on the badging I already knew this guy was a troll.

Second incident...I pull up on a base EB and I turn over to say whats up to him. He doesn't flinch and just looks straight and as soon as the light turns green, he guns it. As he was pulling forward, I saw the "5.0" badge on the side panel

LOl, there is a yellow 2015 Mustang V6 ragtop sitting in the local dodge dealerships front lawn where I live with 5.0 on the fenders. What a bunch of Clems :headbonk:

My father in law is a HUGE Raiders fan. I mean a fan since the days of Lamonica. This is a guy who still has a Bilitnekoff jersey from when he was a kid.

Nothing pisses him off more than to see all these gangbangers wearing Raiders gear doing ghetto crap and calling themselves "Raiders fans." I feel like this is the same thing, lol

To be honest, they're only fooling themselves. Anyone who's got the real deal will know instantly. Anyone they race will laugh as they look out their rearview. Anyone who believes it doesn't give a rip about cars anyway.

I dunno why such things bother other people. I mean if someone buys a base eco and puts 5.0 badges on it and it makes them happy then go for it. You wanna put a GT350 or V10 on the fenders or trunk etc go for it. Why should i or anyone else care? If they are making the payment they can put a 3 ft tall wing and chrome paint with 33" tires for all i care.

We should laugh at people who embellish things including their Mustangs. It's pretty sad that there are some Mustangs running around that have "imposter" 5.0 badges on their unworthy flanks. Just saying...
