Pictures really don't do this colour justice. It's pretty damn sweet in person. I've now seen race red and yellow in person and yellow is winning big time.

That is awesome to hear! I just had a feeling that TY was going to be the right color for me this time around. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see an S550 in person yet. I'm supposed to get a call from the dealership in a couple of weeks when they get to go through training, so I can be there to see it.

Yellow can often look cheap, but this is strong and bright with a depth to it that adds class. I was impressed with the colour frankly.

Thrilled to hear. My first yellow car and while it photographs well, its good to hear from someone who has actually seen it. A bad yellow can be particularly offensive

If I didn't drive in NYC -- where yellow cars just blend in with taxis and become invisible -- that's definitely the color I'd pick.

I got my 2001 Yellow mustang and been waiting forever to upgrade because I refused to get anything else then the yellow then 2015 - my dream came true! Ordered my TY May 20th!

Steve and Topnotch beat me to it, but I thought I would share my photos as well.

These were from the Oakville 50 Years Mustang show. I saw the 15' back in March at the autoshow and I didn't get a good representation of it. Seeing it outside and in a GT model with the PP, I love it. My first thoughts were, it is small, so small. It has a great size all around and I can't wait to see how it drives.

Yellow proved to be a challenge once processing the photos; I tried to give the best representation of the yellow. It is a deep yellow that I think, like Grabber Blue, will change with the lighting conditions. Once some carnauba gets on this colour (which this poor paintwork had nothing covering it sadly), it will be beautiful. Enjoy the photos, if anyone wants a high res file to look at I don't mind sending you one either; taken on 5D3.

Anyone know how to resize? Sorry for the sizes!

WOW!!!! Thanks for sharing danielc. This is my FAVE version of the S550 (minus the lower adaptive cruise control fascia, but I am nitpicking) and your photos are great!

It looks gorgeous, small as you mention (Inc consider that to be a good thing), low, mean, wide and what a yellow!! OMG, I cant wait for this mean machine to grace my garage. I love those black wheels as well. Dare I say it, it looks like an exotic car and def more bold, sporty and brash than my BMW M6.

IMHO, it's a 50% tint (windows) and black roof away from perfection. Even that seems unnecessary! The most impressive color on the S550 for sure!!!

Lovely. Hope this yellow does not disappoint you. So far I'm loving what I'm seeing, seems like a true yellow that brings out the best of this 'fun' car.
