TRIPLE YELLOW S550 MUSTANG Thread

I guess this is an endless discussion. All black wheels have zero visual punch for me since they are basically invisible and make the car look like it has no wheels at all. I don't like chrome either but I would take it day and night over black. But like you said, to each their own ;)

It is personal preference as you say. My gloss black wheels on my GTO have a polished lip. It breaks up the black and gives you a little shape of the wheel itself. Yet with TY I would still want solid black. Frankly I wish manufacturers would offer painted wheels matched to body color or at least with painted body colored pockets in the wheels themselves. Something to break the boredom from just silver painted wheels.

Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the Triple Yellow. It's a fact that yellow is extremely sensitive to artificial light and always becomes more light and pale than in natural daylight. But this picture once again proves that TY is more Zinc than Canary :(
