Awesome lettering on the tires — I'm guessing that's yellow grease pencil?

Never even noticed there was a yellow specific section on the forums here. Guess I'll post a couple pics of mine. Had it since 8/12/15. I'll start with when I got the car home, and then what it looks like now.

looks good, really like the rims.

What process did you use to pain the engine cover. Ive wanted to do this also but have no idea what to use.

The process was very easy. I ordered them and used Paypal to pay for them. LOL I didn't have the materials (or the patience) to do it myself.

The actual process depends on the look you're going for. If you don't care about the texture on the covers, you can just purchase the heat resistant paint and rattle can them. To get them like mine, you have to spray primer, some sanding, color coats, spray clear over area for lettings / stripes, mask off as much area around lettering as possible, spray lettering color, remove masking and wipe off overspray with diluted thinner (this is why you clear coat that area first, so you don't remove the base color), then clear coat the entire cover. To get the smooth glossy appearance, you have to color sand and then start the polishing and buffing stages. The more quality time spent here, the better the outcome. This is why I just bought mine.

I've considered getting a new engine cover with the center black section done with hydrodipped CF and then getting the hydrodipped CF radiator cover and fuse box cover.

She is gorgeous! I've passed you a few times on the freeway. My wife loves yellow and absolutely loved your car when we passed by you. [emoji16] I've also seen you a few times near our neighborhood. Once I get the Shelby, we should get together some time or meet up at one of the local car shows. Hoping to find a cars and coffee event or something here in Reno. Considering Hot August Nights, I'm sure there are fairly regular events.

Meeting up sounds great. I've been hoping to find some other local forum members. So far, I've only seen 1 other GT in my area in CO with a really loud exhaust. I live in Curti Ranch near Geiger Grade & Veterans Prkwy. Shoot me a PM if you want to get together.
My wife has seen me pass by her work on occasion, she told me there's no hiding driving my car. LOL What do you drive now? I noticed a couple driving in a darker colored SUV checking my car out on the freeway last week on Sunday morning. Passed me on passenger side, slowed down and let me go by again, then they moved to the fast lane and drove past me again. Looking forward to seeing your GT350 on the streets of Reno.
