That's my opinion as well, which is why I went with hood spears instead of full on stripes. If I had a hard top, it think I'd need to either go with twin stripes bumper to bumper, or blacked out roof.Having a vert with a black top helps. It's just the right amount of yellow.

Yes. It is absolutely worth the trip. I have family that lives in Knoxville so I drive the Tail every year. The Cherohala Skyway is another great scenic road and there are a few more in this area. It is a nice little getaway weekend to rent a cabin in the mountains and just go driving. Gatlinburg and Dollywood are close by, so you can hit those places up too.
