You're thinking of the MT-82.

As far as I know the Tremec 3160 in the GT350 is a new version of the 6060 designed to be lighter and take high rpm shifts. No Transit van needs either...you'd think?

The 3160 may be designed for those applications, but that doesn't mean it's being used in them yet. The Transit currently uses the MT-82.

Maybe they have or will soon switch but I can find no mention of it on the googles.

I think the Cadillac ATS is the only car currently using the 3160.
