MT82 FI guys - what are you trapping and are you shifting to 5th gear? Running my car to ~ 7,500 RPMs is good for 120 - 121 mph before I let off. Rev it higher or shift to 5th

You're going to need 3.31's-3.55's with a 28inch tire to stay in 4th through the traps, going into 5th kills et/mph.

I have PP with 3.73 and I'm using a 27.9" tire (per M/T spec). Using a 4th gear ratio of 1.315 and 7,500 RPM computes to 127 mph using the calculator. Is that the right ratio for 4th gear? I'll have to actually measure my tire but ultimately I'm thinking I need to change to 3.55 axle ratio. I am 99% certain I am hitting 7,500 - 7,600 RPM and that's giving me a 120-121 mph top speed in 4th gear. Dropping that rear subframe is a PIA though...

Here's the gearing for 15's...

I'd still go with 3.31's/28inch for an mt82 blower car, I prefer to comfortably cross the 1320 under the "danger" rpm zone (7400+).
