We are tracking our car. Its a 2015 Ecoboost 200A car with 6spd manual transmission. Black in color.
How detailed of a track can you get? Well if you make enough phone calls and the dealership tells you the rail car number then you can get pretty much dead on tracking.
At the moment I'm typing this our car is 20 minutes outside of Baltimore Md headed towards the Jessup Md yard where the car will be unloaded most likely tomorrow.
Believe it or not 2 miles down the road are railroad tracks that always carry rail cars full of new cars and if I would have known 1hr ago that it was this close I would have most likely seen the rail car pass at our local railroad crossing.
We are excited to get this car in our hands. The very first thing that will happen is that it will hit our dyno for some baseline numbers, then some tuning and then it will hit the track for some stock untuned runs and then some tuned runs. Our goal is to eclipse the mark that Ford racing set with this car and then make it even faster!!!
For those that dont know much about Woodbine Motorsports we have set records and won races with Ford Lightnings and Mustangs. Our own 2011 GT still holds the record for the fastest stock longlock bolt on stick car (10.88@125mph) @3550lbs.
We were on Pinks All Out back in 2007 and have been featured in several magazines with customers rides. We also competed in the NMRA Modular class back in 2012 and then built a Coyote Stock car and competed in that class in 2013.
We look forward to getting our hands on this car to show what they can do with the proper bolt on parts and tuning. We also look forward to being an integral part of this new platforms community.
We race what we sell.
Thanks everyone,
JJ
