Is there any other way to get the rail car number in which my car has been loaded to than through dealer? As some of you are aware, my dealer is not good at providing any information...

PM Ford Service, not sure if they have that info or not. Worth a shot though.

I read this in the 10/26 thread:

Call 951-360-0707. Tell them you are tracking a car for a customer. They will ask for the last 8 digits of your VIN. Ask them for the rail car#.

Called above number but they are saying that it does not show that car is on a train. Rachel mentioned that the car is in transit. Would Ford ship it via truck?

I called that number as well. The lady that answered the phone asked me if I knew I was talking to someone in California, I told her that I didn't. She asked where I was calling from and gave me a number to call in San Antonio - 210-666-0376. So if you're trying to track an LE or another type headed to Texas you might want to give this a try.

I was the one who posted the (951) number. Yeah, it was meant for those in California. Sorry about the confusion, but I'm glad they were able to point you in the right direction.
