Went to Brainerd MN (BIR) last night for wed night street drags. I had tuned the car for E85 using a Lund Ngauge.
I was the second car to run down the right lane. Had about 45 minutes to let the car cool after the 115 mile drive to the track. The DA was 1501, humidity 49 pct, temp 64, true baro (dry) was 28.849.
ADR 95.7
CORECTION FACTOR 1.0413
DEW PT 44 degrees.

I really wanted to go last night but I am waiting for a new tune that wasn't ready. Maybe we can meet up in Rock Falls, WI in October. You will run a little better over there if you can get traction.

Off topic, but I got my NT555RII's installed today. Can't wait to Get my E85 tuned numbers on Sunday. Should run good. Spark advance gets up over 45 degrees. Filled up with E85 today (tested 82%).

Worth considering. After the first run traction at the line was bad enough i quit for the night. 2nd run spun to the 60 ft mark. Third try over revved, shut down the motor. So i am thinking of getting some sticky tires before i run again. Would be great to meet and cgat some.

Try Byron Dragway if you can. A very well prepped track. I'll be there on Sunday, and once more in October.

Yeah, when mine spins it wheel hops and that is a killer. Traction is a problem when you add power. It is even an issue when stock. Over the winter, I will probably pick up some 10 or 10.5 X 17 wheels and some Mickey Thompson ET street R tires in 305/45r17.

Some guys with street tires drive through the water box and they get water on the starting line. Mix water with VHT and you have a very slick surface. The track crew should mop it up but they don't always do it. I suspect they do a better job at pro events than on these street legal events.
