You might have misunderstood my earlier post. Widest is indeed, not always the answer.Again, no widest is not always the answer.
IOW, we agree on this

He would run a wider tire if it existed - however - he won bunch of National Tours in CAM C on that setup. How many did you win ?You do realize running a 295 on 12 inch wheel is extremely stretched rightNot even using the full potential of the 12 inch wheel.
Bud you are missing the entire point, I am trying to get you to understand that widest is not always the answer. Nothing is ALWAYS the answer, there are a million and one factors as to why that guy won so many titles in autocross. What wheel size he ran is probably one of the least important factors, I wonder how many people copied his exact setup after he won?? I am also telling you he could run a 295 on an 11 inch wheel and save weight, you could probably get away with a 295 on a 10 inch wheel as well.He would run a wider tire if it existed - however - he won bunch of National Tours in CAM C on that setup. How many did you win ?
I'd politely ask that we take that debate elsewhere. Much appreciated!I hate to pollute this thread but .. cool story.
Working on it !I don't autocross, but I run 20x10s on the front and 20x11s on the rear of my 2016 GT with 275/35s and 315/35s. I'd really like to run 295s and 335s front and rear. Also I was wondering why your company doesn't sell Ford wheels.
