You do realize running a 295 on 12 inch wheel is extremely stretched right 😂 Not even using the full potential of the 12 inch wheel.
He would run a wider tire if it existed - however - he won bunch of National Tours in CAM C on that setup. How many did you win ?

Bud you are missing the entire point, I am trying to get you to understand that widest is not always the answer. Nothing is ALWAYS the answer, there are a million and one factors as to why that guy won so many titles in autocross. What wheel size he ran is probably one of the least important factors, I wonder how many people copied his exact setup after he won?? I am also telling you he could run a 295 on an 11 inch wheel and save weight, you could probably get away with a 295 on a 10 inch wheel as well.

How about we stop getting defensive and understand this is a place to learn.

Lets set the wheel size debate aside. Great subject for a new thread.

Meanwhile, vote in the poll if you are shopping for wheels :)

Thanks!

One thing to note on the S550 is that the ideal offset for 11" square set ups is different front and rear. On a 10" we can run a +35 to +38 without issues. For the 11's the front needs a lower offset than rear. That means either making two different offsets are just the higher rear offset and using them up front with spacers. Our preferred is an 11" +45 or +50 rear with 15-20mm spacers up front.

What's your preference for an 11" square set up for a standard S550 or the wider GT350 fenders?:

spacers or two offsets?

I don't autocross, but I run 20x10s on the front and 20x11s on the rear of my 2016 GT with 275/35s and 315/35s. I'd really like to run 295s and 335s front and rear. Also I was wondering why your company doesn't sell Ford wheels.

That is our preference too.
For two reasons.. On the customer end it allows them to rotate the tires which helps in getting every last bit of useful rubber out of each set.

On our end it's one fitment, which allows to produce more, insure we have full sets in stock and keep spares.

The downside for the customer is that it often requires they add extended wheel studs. In our opinion though, for any track car, that should be one of the first modifications.
