i have drag radials on another set of wheels that have sensors in them. saturday i put them on to go racing and after a while they displayed pressure. My issue is now that i have put the other wheels back on it wont read the back sensors... i keep my daily wheels at 40 psi my dr's are at 30 psi. I have tried the training as posted a few posts down and the fronts will learn... but i cant get the backs to learn. Do i need to drop pressure down farther than what the dr's were? It says "tire pressure sensor fault" on the dash and they were working before.

FL says "40"
RF says "40"
RR AND RL both are "--"

You used a reset tool to reset when you used the setup and switched them?
nope.... put the wheels with dr's on and after approx 20 miles of driving the dash showed the correct psi. Once i got home from racing and put my wheels with the street tires on i figured the same, that after a while of driving....the dash would show the correct psi... but instead the message " tire pressure sensor fault" is displayed and both the RR and RL show "--" front tires are showing pressure as normal.

figured as much... ty for the response
before buying that tool, did you try the below steps yet? @SmokedSS provided these steps in another thread, which worked for the OP

1) Make sure your tires are inflated to the recommended psi.

2) Turn ignition to the on position. If you have a push button start, push the start button without pressing the brake pedal.

3) Push the hazard light button 6 times. The horn should honk and you should see "Train left front tire" in the LCD display between the tach and speedo.

4) Release air pressure in the front left tire until you hear the horn honk. The LCD display should now read "Train right front tire".

5) Release air pressure in the right front tire until you hear the horn honk.

6) Repeat for the the right rear tire, and then the left rear tire.

7) You should now see "Training Complete" in the LCD display.

8) Fill your tires back up to the recommended pressure.

just to update... got the trainer in the mail today and worked perfect..... i know alot of people say you dont need it.. i switch wheels alot since i have a set of dr's mounted on other wheels with sensors... so now i can just reprogram them after install instead of waiting for them to program...
