Ditto. Same set up here with zero issues.
I have a 2013 F-150 crew cab 5.5' bed with the 5.0 and 3.55 rear axle and tow my other car on my steel deck 18' open trailer and it does just fine. It depends on how much you're planning to tow the car if it is worth it to buy a bigger truck. I have about 10k miles with a trailer on this truck and have just shy of 100k miles total. Been on multiple trips from OH to Wi and OH to TN with it and haven't had any issues.
