Big word of advise about touchless car washes. I was lazy and in a hurry and wanted to do "just a quick wash" then detail my Mustang at the show. I thought everything went fine but as I was cleaning the wheels I see the 2 huge gouges in the face of the rim. The wheel made contact with the metal guide bars in the car wash. I don't think I'll be able to fix this. Today I just made major purchases over at AutoGeek.
It's totally my fault but I swear it'll never happen again. Beware!

There are no guide bars in the one I have been to, if there were I would not put my car through it. Take it to a wheel place that repairs wheels. That's definitely fixable.

Yep, never use any washes with guide bars. The ones I go to are 100% open with the wand thingy going around the car.
