Having never done it before, it took 5 hours start/to finish for me to swap my converter. I'd think a shop who knew what they were doing could do it quicker.

I'd expect $500 or less +/- materials based on regions and rates.

I was quoted $550 by a local shop. It took me 8 hours to do it myself. In hindsight, I'd let the shop do it next time. Not a fun job!
