Top Gear denied my application...so I made my own show

Today is the big day...I’m heading to the Smokies for the weekend and have a plethora (a plethora El Guapo?) of action cameras at the ready.

[Roadway 5.0]

Here’s video #1...a 4x time lapse of the Dragon (US129 in Tennessee). Let me know if you get woozy from watching this; I might slow the lapse down a bit.

By the way, this road was INSANE at night!

And now video #2...



I setup filming with three action cameras for US129 the Dragon. One of the shots is of the front right tire; I have at least 3 solid minutes in this video dedicated to this shot.

Anyway, I’m pretty proud of this video in particular. If you hate it, don’t let me know!

Here's the latest. This road took me my total surprise; I was headed to Clingmans Dome (the highest mountain in the Smokies) to hike to the top and relax for a few hours. It turns out the road to the top was incredible! The video doesn't showcase the scenery as well as I would have liked, but you can certainly get a feel for the road's gorgeous and relentless sweeping curves. if you're ever in the area for sure add this road and hike to your list. A+ grade for sure:
