So I've had my Mustang since last Thursday afternoon and I know I should have posted this earlier but I was too busy driving

So here she is: Magnetic Auto GT , ordered October 19th 2015, Delivered 23rd June

Having driven over 300 miles already I have to say that I really like this car - it's a very civilised GT. Not going to win at racing hot hatches along B roads but that's not the point in my opinion

It's a comfy armchair when you feel like pootling around being admired (and boy do you get some attention!) but can still scare the bejesus out of you if you don't treat it with respect. I kinda like that, sort of like the incredible hulk - "don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry" :hail:


Also, I may be going out on a limb here, and am prepared to be shot down but I actually really like the stock exhaust !- it woofles nicely on start-up, makes itself subtly known and doesn't drone on the motorway. Better than that, every time you press the loud pedal it gets, well, loud !


Not given it any real beans yet - respecting the run-in process but the potential is clearly there.

All in all, a good first few days and I'm really happy with the car :cheers:

So pleased to finally read all the 'Fedora' write-ups!

Oh & for the record, I'm keeping stock exhause for about a year I reckon. Did that with my Jag & got a whole new car again in 12 months. It's an option mate

I wouldn't disagree with you on the exhaust. It sounds much better in person than you'd imagine going by the forum, and it would be very easy to live with.
Becomes more noticeable when you're sitting with half a dozen other cars with aftermarket pipes however ;)

Completely agree with you on the exhaust. The day I picked my car up I decided I would not be fitting an after market exhaust, the stock exhaust sounds great.

Err, then I got a Roush axle back!

Took the car into work for the first time today. It's the talk of the office at the moment Am going to have to clean it again as I had a small crowd drooling over it at lunchtime. Quite a few petrolheads here so all appreciative comments so far :hail:

Congratulations, they are fantastic. I can't believe the amount of attention it gets, I am going out again in a minute. I think I agree about the exhaust even though I have an MBRP street sitting in my lock up, procrastinating now about fitting it. :lol:
