See the bottom of the first page for the update! Ford is honoring the warranty. Way to go Ford.

Passenger seat sounds like it has water bottle under it, but it doesn't.

Driver's seat squeaks a lot.

Trunk lining squeaks when playing music.

Rear left panel out of alignment.

Hood is all out of whack, terrible alignment.

Dirt in the paint or something like that right under the trunk.

Interior fake chrome is peeling in some areas and even hurts to touch on the shifter.

I love my mustang, but terrible qc out of the factory. I plan on taking it in but I can't lose my car and not have a replacement for getting to and from work. I'm hoping these are easily fixed issues!

Best of luck. I'm still fighting for panel alignment and such 2 months out of purchase.

......and Fordtechone doesn't believe it. He thinks it's only ''10 out of 100,000'' that have issues.
My issues are......
1- sloppy hood and passenger door alignment. Passenger door was mostly fixed, hood was not. I've lived with it.
2- rattles from driver door, light switch, center stack and back. I just turn the radio up rather than have the dealer mess up the car more.
3- super thin shitty paint that chips if you loo at it wrong, multiple waves and flaws in the metal. Also, there are a few spots that have stuff under the paint.

I will list the positives though also....
1- car is fast, fun and gets 28 mpg at 70 mph which to me is amazing.
2- it looks damn good (til you get within 3 feet :D)
3- motor doesn't burn any oil, unlike my 12 GT that guzzled a quart every 1000 miles (I was told it was ''normal'' LOL)

Ford needs to step up the quality a bit. It is a great car but I will happily pay 2k more if the quality control was better and it actually had more than a .0000001'' of paint on it.

Okay I thought I was going nuts, sometimes I hear the water rushing thing from passenger side.

What the hell is it?!

Can anyone recommend a good dealership in the Detroit suburb area to take my car to?

Oh yea. The dealership I bought it from has a couple in each week for alignments. But told me mine was 'within spec' with blatant gaps and ever hangs. So I'm in the midst of getting a second opinion to advance my claim with ford.

There wasn't a question mark, but I'll assume that was a question...possibly rhetorical.

1. Buyer Education - before visiting a detailer and belonging to this forum I didn't have the information necessary to evaluate a car properly when purchasing. I probably still don't have enough knowledge to fit your standard, but I'm getting better...

2. Trust - I trusted the dealership, the sales person, FORD quality control and the service manager who drove the car with me. I asked for complete transparency in person and email about any flaws or things that needed to be fixed. Call me a stupid consumer, but I'd like to be able to trust the company that builds the vehicle that gets me around town.

3. Time - Not all problems are heard, seen or felt upon the initial viewing and driving of the car.

No buyers remorse, just a guy looking for Ford to stand behind their product and I'm optimistic that they will.

I appreciate that you complain about others "complaining", but let's keep this thread moving towards solving issues and helping each other.

a lot of panel gap postings on this forum. Any way to capture that in a photo?
