Was driving to the mall today, and when i pulled into a stall, i noticed the coolant temps were a little high. Its about 66 outside, and the temps were over 200, and would rise slowly, i think before i shut off the car it was 210. After i got home i pulled into my garage and the temps went up again, this time to about 215 or so. I opened the hood to see if i could see any leaks or whatever but there was nothing. Also, i noticed that I didn't hear the radiator fans turning on.

Anyone know what it could be?

210 215 is not too high. the thermostat does not even open until 195 and these cars run in that range 210-215

Stock thermostat is rated 180 degrees, at least thats what i had on my stock gtpp. The fans kick in around 195 degrees.

Are you looking at coolant temp of cylinder head temp?
These two are not the same.

Who's smoking in their mustang? I believe you can buy a 170 degree thermostat if you wish.

mine runs 195-215 like others here. i've seen it creep up to 220 on heavy traffic but it comes down quickly.
