So, this is random, but maybe it's normal operation. Whenever I adjust anything on the HVAC, the screen switches to the HVAC display but only for 2-3 seconds. I can't actually get to that screen and STAY on that screen. Is that normal operation?

That is normal operation and by design.

Was just curious if this is a thing for anyone else as well.

1. The temp reading will read 0* sometimes. Like this morning on the way to work it read 33* and then a few miles later it read 0* and then a few miles more it came back and etc. etc. Maybe once a week it'll do this, as far as I notice.

2. Also I really only use the Sync player and when you first start the vehicle and everything is coming up the media info will be blank. But if you got to say the radio and then back to Sync, the media info then comes up. Does this maybe 90% of the time.

Was just curious if anyone else's did this as well. Still loving the unit btw.

For problem 2, you can press the "AUX" button while you are in SYNC window so you don't have to go back to radio then back to SYNC again.

Saw an install video and in it the guy mentions if you don't have your auto headlights on the display comes on full brightness. Just turn your lights on and off by hand and the dim issue is solved. Works for me at least.

I've seen #1 sporadically but it always self-corrects in a couple minutes.

#2 happens quite frequently with my unit.

So, I put a bunch of videos on a USB drive (FAT32) and they show up as a list when I go to "Video" but they don't play. I can click them but nothing happens. 17 video files, ranging from 60-100mb each, all in .mp4 format.

Can you give us more information about the encoding of the mp4? Or how did you get the mp4? I have over 20 videos and they all play perfectly. Believe it or not I even play 1080P videos! Of course the 1080P is playable but kinda laggy I'd say it probably run at 25FPS... lol

Sorry I've been a little busy lately with the Xmas shopping lol. Anyways... I replied to you on it and I posted all my ideas on how to make it work! best one is to tape on the light sensor...

I'll have to check it tonight. The company just told me "The video of the 800*480 can not be played. The Resolution of the video is very important" so I asked what resolution I should use. :/ When I explained the temperature will go from 0° to 33° to 188° on it's own, they told me it's a Fahrenheit issue, which is crap. I told them I want to return the unit at this point, it's REALLY not worth it for the crappy Navigation and a bigger backup camera.
