It's very simple tap into the intercooler pump red wire, like Whipple SC said above. It's what I did and works perfect.
Yes, if you want the fans to run all the time. I'm trying to find a solution with out a switch or running all the time.

Say sitting in a parking lot or at a car meet listening to the radio, I don't want my fans running. I would like them to run only when the motor is running. Not just when the car is powered up.

Right and like I said in the beginning of this thread you can take that power wire and run it to a switch into the cabin of the car. I did this with my fans and worked perfect. I tapped the intercooler power wire for the fans and when I switched I t on it would come on every time the car started and turned off when car was off, and I could also turn the fan off anytime I wanted.

Man, now you have me confused becuase it seems Whipple SC answered that. If you tap into the intercooler pump power wire it will only come on when the engine is running. You could push the power button and your stereo would work and fans would not be on until your actually start the car and motor is running.

Lmfao now I'm twisted. I'm not at that stage of my install yet. I'm pretty sure after talking to Jeff @ Whipple yesterday (about this and other issues), the ic pump runs when the care is powered up ( car on motor not). He said that the new suggested fuse is a "keyed" power source.

If that is true, I will be able to tell you Thursday unless Whitemare chimes in sooner.

I really think there is a better solution but I can't test other circuits untill I Finish my install hopefully by Friday.

How is yours set up? When you are in acc is your pump and fans running?

I have the complete Whipple Non tuner kit, however I made my own fan setup and wiring and switch. The best way is to tap into the intercooler pump only runs when engine runs, and my switch was for when I didn't want to hear the fans at all.
