Hmm. Not really sure. I live in Texas where it's mostly hot all year round. So I guess I should go with summer tires? Not really sure. What would you recommend ?
Summer if weather doesn't go below freezing, 40F if possible...some summer tires will crack/split, all of them traction is diminished to a significant degree.

Why I went with Motivo...all-season as my car is my only vehicle.

Tire Rack is your friend, first to educate on the ins and outs of tires and also how to select between the options.

I've never bought shoes by how the underside looks before...

I have tried a ton of different tires, ge the Michelin sport 4s or mpss. I think continental has a comparable tire also.

You bought a 100 treadwear spec compound drag radial and expected it to last as a daily street driven tire? Brilliant!
When NITTO says street, I expected to get more then 1000 miles. Coulda went PS4 and got 10x that with similar traction.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 will be the best bang for your buck. They used to be DIRT CHEAP but have recently raised their prices a bit, but still cheaper than pretty much everything in their grip category. Another option if you're looking for more wet performance is the General G-Max RS or the Falken FK510. Similar (but slightly less) dry grip than the Indy 500, but way better wet performance. It's not that the Indy 500's are bad in the wet, those other two are just that good.

Dang just saw your post. I ordered the tires last night on tire rack. Hopefully I didn't overpay too much. The size I got were 275/40R19

I can't believe no one has said this but your rear tires should be the same as your fronts. Mixing tire brands and models is not a great idea imo. If your looking for different tires then get fronts too.

Some people like to run DOT drag radials on the rear to hook better. Don't think I'd want to run them on the front too.
