I have had my 2016 ecoboost (driven 14,000 miles) with factory 18" goodyears on it for 16 months now, I also have the pedalmax device installed to get rid of the throttle and turbo lag which is does a great job of.
A few times while driving on a street after a very light rain and taking a quick sharp turn the back end is fish tailing on me to the point of losing it. I believe once with pedalmax on and once without it on (for testing purposes).
Even though our cars are fairly quick and rear wheel drive I doubt this is normal behavior, I am just driving too fast or is it maybe uneven wear or balding on my tires? I have looked at them and tread seems fine, would rotating them help?
The reason I am asking is because I am thinking about driving the car 1,100 miles up to the midwest from Florida and I am at least right now not entirely comfortable about the tire issue described above.
Any help would be appreciated
