I live in a warehouse loft. I have no garage. I store my wheels on one of those piece together shelving units from the Depot of Home or Blowes... one of them. And it is too wide and too flimsy.

I need something that's, tops, 35" wide and strong. I plan to store a whopping 8 wheels, the slimmest being 10" wide with a 275 tire.

Obviously nobody makes this because that would be too easy.

So... anyone MAKE their own tire rack? Pix?

I have a shed in my backyard so I just took 4 bricks out some wood on top and lay my wheels which are bagged on top of each other

I would store them in my shop butt I need space for new wheels for my ride lmao

35" wide will be a limiting factor. That's an odd size for shelving.

You can certainly build something custom pretty easily in either a 2 post secured to wall or a 4 post free standing design. At the widths you are talking about standard 2x4 construction will be more than sufficient strength wise.

Something like this might work pretty well for you.

Tire Rack sells tire storage racks. They appear to mount to the wall, though. I have no experience with them, but you might want to check them out.

I've seen them you just need to have it mounted to the wall correctly so the studs dont come out.
