Does anyone else hear a noise coming from their tires? Like a flapping / recurring noise (I can hear it over my radio).

I've had this issue twice already. The first time at 9400 miles, Ford replaced my tires and the noise stopped. Rotating the tires didn't get rid of the noise.

The second time at 18,500 miles, (new service guy, ugh!!) Ford told me it was "normal" and wouldn't even inspect the car. These tires have about 10,000 miles on them now, so I know I don't need new tires. And they were rotated, but I still hear the noise.

Just curious what I need to do to get rid of the noise. Are there issues with the stock tires I don't know about? It was really hard to get any information from the service guy. Thanks!!

any chance one or more tires is getting out or round or unbalanced? You could take your car to a regular tire shop that does tires all day long.

I was thinking that one tire may have an issue, but it's odd that it happened at 10,000 miles again. Is that the life of these tires?!

Guess I will take it to a tire shop this week. Thanks!

If it's not losing pressure the only thing I can think of is something is stuck to one of them. lol

Hello mustangirl,

Let’s get this escalated and looked into for you. Please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number. I’ll get the customer service manager for your area looped in.
