Today I mounted my drag radials on my 2017 GT PP. I went 305 /35 /19 on eleven inch rims. I put my rear 275/40 /19's on the front which should work fine but I've got a rub when making a fairly sharp left turn. It's definitely, by the sound, the fender liner. I was running 25mm spacers but removed them today. I'm thinking putting them back on the front will solve the problem? Thanks for the help.

It's all about the wheel offset. I assume you put PP1 rear wheels on the front? The offset of those is +52, which won't fit. The wheels sit too far inside and would typically rub the strut. The spacers will give you an effective offset of +27, which should fit unless you're lowered a LOT.

Thanks. That's a great answer and I appreciate the reply. One other question. I've read people saying to use red loctite for the spacers but every instruction video I've seen uses none. The particular spacers I have call for a torque of 120 ft. Lb. Your thoughts.

I'm conservative and won't even use that type of spacer. It seems logical to recommend loctite as an extra precaution but I don't have any experience with them.
