I've been told that the cupping that is evident on the tires on my F150 is due to a bad suspension. My truck has 40,000 miles on it as do the tires. The tires have been rotated every 5000 miles.
My question is can I expect the same from my Mustang?

I bought an 18k-mile 2016 Mustang convertible earlier this year.

I always got a noticeable shimmy between 71-75 mph. Thought it was a wheel weight issue, so I had them checked. Nope. Checked the alignment. Nope.

The Goodyears were cupped at 18,000 mikes. Pathetic.

I just replaced the Goodyears on my 2007 Corvette with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. Problems solved. Less road noise, much better ride.

I hate replacing the Mustang Goodyears at (now) 20k, but I have no choice. Goodyear just makes shoddy tires anymore.

Had the same issue on my 15 Gt, the pzeros were cupping at 18k, so replaced them with pilot sports all-seasons and everything has been great since.
