Did it used to work ok when you first got it?

Those lances have the dense mesh filter I mentioned in one of my earlier posts. There should be a metal pin towards the back of the main nozzle (which appears to be red in this case although they're normally black on most versions), which you use a small screwdriver to push out, which then allows you to just pull the nozzle off. You then need a couple of hefty spanners or grips to unscrew the brass nozzle sections that are then exposed, after which you can remove the mesh filter from the the very front piece (to which the nozzle blades attach) by pushing a screwdriver in through the nozzle, after which it just pops out. There is a video on the strip down below:
.

This filter will likely need replacing as they're very difficult to clean (you can try try boiling them in a pan of water for 5-10 mins as this sometimes works) and they are widely available on eBay ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Snow-Foam...7ca1b06&pid=100009&rk=1&rkt=1&sd=331700435650 )... but as mentioned in my earlier post... you've got to flush the gun with lots of clean water every time you use it otherwise this will just keep happening as the snow foam clogs it very easily.

Otherwise, it's an error with the settings on the gun (the nozzle blades should be almost together and the flow dial on the top should be almost closed to get the proper foam consistency).
thanks
silly me, thinking you just put the soap and mix with water, and you are good to go :frusty:

I
Today I went to one of those £5 hand car washes - one of the few good ones that actually do a bang up job (even seen Bentleys and R8s roll up to it). Did some final detailing at home with Autoglym and G3 products and voila! Spotless.

As Darth Vader would say " NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Do you think for a £5 they actually use clean cloths? How many cars has one of their leathers cleaned before being washed?
I used to take my S197 which was Red to a local one, and like you they had sports cars, even william gallas used to pop in "when he was not crying on the pitch" I would take her home and polish her, looked fine.
Then I took her to Custom Exotics and under a light he showed me the state of the paintwork. And your car is Black which makes it 100 times worse
My CS the nearest it gets is filling up with petrol in the garage where they are based, they have asked me who cleans the car for me. I say "me"

Saw from the other posts Jimboys link to Slims detailing. Was having a look at some of the interior cleaning bits for the leather. Anyone used any of it? I quite fancy giving the seats a good clean and adding a bit of protection...

The only stuff I have used is Meguires (gold class I think) leather conditioner. Never used anything else so can't compare.

If you haven't already, check out detailing world. I have gotten so much info over the last few days.

Also can't fault Slim's with their service

Gave the seats a clean just with autoglym leather cleaner then applied Gtechniq L1 leather guard to mine.
