So I just got headers installed and a good tune done. But, it’s time to put some love into suspension work.

plans for the car:
I’m planning on going supercharged and looking to be around 700-800 rwhp. The car is mostly street driven, back road and things like the the tail and all. I plan to take it to autocross and track days here and there but not a ton. Mostly just for fun.

so, with all that said, mine is a magnaride car and I’m wondering what suspension setups/parts I should look into to getting to make the car awesome for what I plan to do with it?

You have magnaride so no need for shocks.

I’d recommend one or two parts to help control the rear suspension. The ‘19s aren’t as bad as the 15-17 were for wheel hop so you may not need much. LRCA bearings are a great part, but the install is a pain. Do the reat toe link if you do the bearings, they work well together.

springs and swaybars are an option for you. For high speed back roads, I like a stiffer suspension, (springs, and at least a front swaybar) but its a bit of a personal preference.

upgrading the front swaybar would be good for a high hp car. Better control at high speed, but still puts the power down well.

What nightmare said front sway bar, toe to knuckle bearings and RLCA bearings
Cradle lockout

Other nice additions are Rear Shock mounts and Vertical Links

Can't go wrong with BMR/Steeda for all of these parts

Thanks for the info guys! I did forget to mention iv already had installed Steeda’s 1” lowering springs....my bad

Ill take a look into the parts y’all talked about!

Other question i had....I’m currently running a set of Koenig Amplyforms 19x9.5 square setup on PS4S 275 40R 19 all around. Would i be ok running that tire width at the power level I’m looking at?

Hello Chaz,

We have a great team in our Valdosta facility that can help you with your suspension package - the same team that builds our Steeda Performance Vehicles that are often equipped with S.C.s

Shoot me an email to [email protected] if I can help put you in contact with our build experts - possibly looking at install support too!

Looking forward to connecting you with Team Steeda!
