Hopefully taking my car to the track in a couple of weeks. I've decided to tow just in case...I've never had an IRS car, and in the past I've always just wrapped the straps around the axle tubes.

So where are you folks tying down at in the rear?

I figured since you're not supposed to lift the car by the rear, torquing on it with tie downs wouldn't be good for it either.

Thanks!

I use the factory transport slots with mini J hooks or T hooks. I figure if they hold it to the auto carrier that way it shouldnt hurt the car. I dont crank on the straps, just use enough pressure to keep it from rolling forward or backward.

I have not had any problems yet.

I put straps through the wheels on each corner. Works fine for me.
