Hey guys,
I have the Steeda Progressives with 275/35/20 Niche Essens squared. Under heavy acceleration while exiting a turn/corner (typically rolling in to it at about 10/20/30mph), I hear a thump from the back of the car. Not sure what it can be...had an opinion of it possibly being the bump stops. Sounds like it's squatting too far under the heavy accel?
Has anyone experienced this or have an idea of what it could be?
Just to be cautious, I did a walk around in the back and did not notice any scuff marks on the tires.
I received an opinion from our local Mustang group in ATL, and one said he had the same problem, and his fix was repositioning his springs to sit right in the rear. I took it back to Kauffman Tire who did the spring installation, and they said they adjusted the driver side spring ever so slightly. Unfortunately, on the way home from Kauffman, it made the noise again.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
