So is the BBK,TB a good bang for the buck? Many reviews from different parts suppliers show good improvement? Curious are people after spending 4-5 hundred bucks not always telling the truth?:shrug:

I bought the BBK after my TB failed after 5000 miles. Reading how common a problem this is I decided to not have ford replace it with a new one that could potentially fail again from what ever design flaw is in them, and just ordered the BBK one, which only took 2 days compared to getting the run around from Ford. Now to answer your question, I am happy spent the 450 only for the fact that when you inspect the BBK TB and hold it next to the stock one it just feels more durable and of a better build quality. It feels more responsive than the stock but then again I had a failing TB so that might not be accurate. Your not gonna gain any real performance out of it but it will give you peice of mind. If your looking for most performance for the same money, I'd go with a tuner.

I'm thinking of adding the BBK to my motor,already have the tuner from MPT. My thoughts are more air I ordered the C&L CAI today and I'm saving for the Gibson cat back exhaust,what I would like to do is get everything on then do a data log and send that into MPT and have them write me another tune with the CIA,TB,Gibson exhaust,do a 87-89 tune and a 91 tune being more stations have 91 then 93 out where I live,run her dry during the week and the fill with 91 for the weekend.
