throttle body "tick"

Getting a weird "tick" or "pop" coming from the throttle body, almost like a valve or something can't close properly and keeps trying to open or close. Stock throttle body, not sure how long this has been going on. Idles and drives fine. Lund tune, Roush intake with insert removed, Reische thermostat.

I brought mine to a mechanic for an unrelated issue (whining noise when ac compressor engages) and he mentioned the clicking and pointed to the throttle body. Took the intake off and would see the door flapping when the clicking noise was present. It's getting replaced, should fix the issue.

Yea this is correct. My 2016 5.0 had a loud clicking sound from the TB. Replaced with a new OEM one. Sound went away. I hear it’s common on the coyotes.
