Thread specs for Spare Tire Wheel Bolt Mount DS7C-1402-CA

What is the thread specs for the spare wheel bolt? I thought it was 1/4-20, but the threads might be more fine.

I’m trying to find a rod and extender to secure my full size spare.

1/4-20 is the standard coarse thread, try 1/4-28, that's fine thread. More than likely its a 6 mm as everything on modern cars is metric.

thank you for the quick reply. I thought 20 was fine, I was wrong.
I ordered both and will report back with the true size if anyone needs to do the same
