not all of the auto's have remote start.... i have a few friends with 2015's without remote start.

I've never seen this. All literature points to it being standard on all Autos. Are you sure your friends just aren't aware of it? I've talked to a few people who weren't.

yes... actually i just did a remote start on a 2015 auto yesterday that didnt have it from the factory.... remote just had " lock...unlock.....trunk....panic."

Premiums with auto have it as part of the package. Base models do not.
