Finished a gruelling 10 hour shift today around 1630, weather was grey and my mood was grey, walked round the corner to my work car park and, there she was, sitting there, no other car to spoil the view, side on wow, what a beauty

The grin that came over my face could have lit up Blackpool Tower on illumination night!! When I sat in her and started her up, one of my colleagues came over for a chat, he was in awe :eyebulge:

Not had this sort of uplifting feeling for a long time

To the OP, it's more than well worth the wait

Woke up before wife. Snuck out and swapped gear knob, put oil swirl pot on and swapped steering wheel for Gt350 wheel. All before breakfast. Few mates popped by over morning so had to have a quick demo run for each of them. Best Sat morning for ages.

Me too !
A few years back I decided I needed a small car for my 16 mile round trip in to work. Without any research or even a test drive I bought a brand new Corsa 1.2 Ltd Edition.

On the 6 mile drive home from the showroom on the day I picked it up I knew I'd made a horrible horrible mistake !
It was the nastiest, little car I've ever driven.
Not just underpowered, but dangerously so !
You needed to give a day's notice just to overtake a milk float.
And to make matters worse you had to thrash the tits off it to get anywhere, so the fuel economy was terrible.

So for a year I suffered in shame, a 40 something year old bloke running around in a kiddies car.
The worst car I have (or will) ever owned.

It was red with black wheels, my next red with black wheels car I'm hoping will be a different story altogether...

Sorry, being honest...if it is very reliable I would trade with you :p
Hahaha, best car I've ever owned!
Getting old now & although she's in excellent condition & low mileage, I worry about everyday, daily driving for the future. Needs an enthusiast to own her as a second car ideally. It deserves that.

Worth a bit but not the same value as your beautiful Ruby! I wish it was though... would make my life a lot easier.

Lol tell me about it. Looks great, after 2 years the way you drive it is in third gear. 4th and 5th have no power in them. Unless you shift third at about 5.5k and go quick so 4th sits in the 4k range then you'll have power in 5th if you do the same. Most of the time you can smash 3rd to 70 and then go to 5th to cruise.

Perfect for a first car. Just not for a petrol head.

Mines this...

That is a beautiful motor.

You won't regret getting the Mustang though. You'll love every minute and be grinning every time you get behind the wheel. You're car will be here soon enough.....Good luck with the wait...
