So I set a day aside to install my intercooler, Wastegate, spark plugs, intake, catch can, tune and do an oil change. Well I realize I'm missing some parts due to them not getting shipped. They were all mailed to my dad's house so never checked to see if they were all there because I need his driveway. Well anyways I'm like eff it I'll install the intake and catch can. Well I get the intake off and see a good amount of oil inside the turbo inlet. Then I check the dipstick and its bone dry. So calling tomorrow and taking it in to see why on earth it's eating so much oil. I do have a 2016 with updated PCV system so car should not be eating 4-5 quarts of oil every 3500 miles.

This is making me wanna pull my intake off and take a look too. Before my last oil change the oil level was low on the dipstick of my car.
Good luck at the dealer.

Man that sucks, I hope you didn't do any damage. This is why every turbo charged car I own gets a Oil pressure gauge.

Thankfully no parts were installed.... So don't have to worry about the dealer trying to pull some crap.

I would do a compression / leakdown test just for peace of mind if it were me. I check my oil level every 500 or so miles depending on how i drive the car. At 1000 miles on my car now and i'm still a little above the full mark. It could very well be a bad pcv but whenever the case of low oil (with no obvious signs of leakage) comes around i always check compression first before looking at/buying parts.

Yea they're closed today so calling them tomorrow to make my appointment and let them check the car.

I'm curious do you have any kind of catch can setup? Could oil be getting in through the recirc. tube or the pcv. I wouldn't count on the updated pcv alone to be a fix all for how serious the blow by issue is on these cars.
