M25 clockwise jctn 3 ish late this morning. Driving my unique brand new race red vert GT I saw a, er, another brand new race red vert GT! Good news is I know how good my car looks now .

Exciting moment for me...saw my first one Race Red R*65 *** looked beautiful! This was in Cold Ash, near Newbury so hoping I will see it again. Slightly ruined by the fact I was in the Fiesta!

Not an S550 sighting, but passed a fantastic looking S197 today coming the other way, and got a wave! (unless he was adjusting his visor). I was too slow off the mark to acknowledge unfortunately.

Saw a great looking black GT vert in the City of London about an hour ago. Don't suppose that's anyones here?!

Saw a cracker today... A46 by coventry, 6.30ish

Yellow ecoboost, but a USA import... LHD, American spec... Colour looked really good in the sun.

Rear lights looked good in red, def a consideration for when mine arrives if they can be swapped out

Deck lid pony looked good as opposed to petrol cap thing

Also the alloys looked very nice, they were the American ones I assume.

Nice private plate too... EC08 USA I think it was

Why would you import an ecoboost? I don't get it, is there a huge price difference??

No idea, can't imagine price will be much better once it's imported!

Was it widely known this mustang was UK bound when it first came out in US? Maybe he was very unfortunate and imported it a while back before they were known to be coming here? Can't see thay being case though!

If I remember rightly, it was always a 'global' car. It's what got me interested in them seriously on the initial launch. May just be someone who didn't want to wait? Or one of those "it's not a real mustang if it ain't left hand drive"..... okaaaaay

Also spotted my 1st in the wild today.

Race red near sainsburys in Taplow. Was at an accountants I think? Looked like a couple of work men taking photos of it too.

Quite possibly brought over by a US serviceman. No import tax and, if they have it here for a short period of time (think it's 18 months) no VAT, either.

They usually get free shipping to/from the US, so they'll either ship 'em back, or sell it here when they're done with it.

I bought my S197 from a US serviceman who was being relocated to Hawaii (tough gig!).
