you all on about the Top Gear review now? and not the video Harris did? (Because I think that video came off good enough...) Haven't seen todays Top Gear yet as it doesn't air legally till Tuesday... though it should be on the Bay in an hour or so ;)

I guess cos the pillock is comparing it to a turbo car, like the RS where you get a noticeable bit of power....Big engined n/a cars tend to pile on the power in a more linear fashion

Rory Reid's dismissal of the Mustang was pretty disgusting and it showed on Chris Harris's face.

Rory Reid is a pretty dismal presenter and Chris Harris is fantastic presenter and an excellent driver. I know who I would believe.

I only watched Top Gear to see the Mustang. I'll not be putting that cr*p on again ...

Chris Harris on Extra Gear was obviously annoyed at Rory Reid for his Mustang review.

13 mpg was a massive misrepresentation as I have never had below 21 mpg and often get over 25 mpg and many have done even better.

Saving grace was the mention of a V8 5.0 412 HP for under £35K which will have been heard by many.

Anyway, when I said Top Gear Effect I really meant that lot on Amazon

Watching extra gear now. I love how much Chirs is a fan of the mustang and pretty much showing up Rory's knowledge.
According to Rory it isn't a "real" mustang. :frusty: knob

Off air during the filming of Extra CH was for vigorously contesting RRs view of the Mustang, even the hand held Camera Man joined in as he has just ordered (or got) a 2015 vert. CH was impressive on and off air.

We didn't get shown the Track Apps video in the studio.

Did you notice during the highlights section RR get both wheels off the ground when he caught the verge drifting round the bend?

Also on the TG website there is a QA session with each of the presenters and when asked if she could only have one car for the rest of her life Sabine said a V8 Mustang. Pity there is no footage of her taking Journalists round the track a few weeks ago. Perhaps someone will get her to take a GT round the ring.

Apparently the Stig took the GT around the track but it wasn't filmed. Couldn't find out why.

Interested to see the the Matt LeBlanc's Porsche article tonight, the inner petrol head has at last emerged. During filming the only section he seemed happy in was the section in Extra on the 'sofa'. I could certainly believe the rumours.

Just watched the extra, that Rory is more of a dicksplash on that than the tv show. This is not because of his Mustang review, this is because ALL his features so far, are appalling, true story!

Slaggs off the wheel on the LHD, then says "owning a Mustang should be tough" then he goes back to the Classic LHD, where he can't overtake anyone
And talks about Car Clubs, so really he was saying a Mustang should be a LHD and you should join the MOCOGB
As for the MPG Yes when you start off driving than the number climbs up
done 500 miles now, and on the M25 was getting 28mpg and around town 25mpg even in traffic just dropped to 21mpg
He did not like the Euro look, preferred the true Muscle car look, which the S550 is not
For me
S197 - Retro Muscle car
S550 - Tech City Sports car

Mind you if i had a cool Million gathering dust, come to mamma the DB5 the most iconic car in the world
