This weekend lads.

Looks like Rory Reid will be doing the review so I'm guessing less of a technical review as you would expect from Chris (Harris not the w*nk*r) and more of a 'how the car makes you feel' review.
I wonder what it'll get on his 1 corner happiness test.... See if it beats that pesky m2.

Episode 6 main show and Extra feature the Mustang

Make sure you watch Top Gear Extra immediately afterwards as CH gets the chance to provide his opinion of the GT. Also the compilation feature.

I know whose views I am interested and told him so on the day when I shook his hand at the end of filming. He is the star of the show, funny on and off camera, and engages more with the audience than anyone else. Having said that CE was OK, much better than I thought he might be.

I hope we will be seeing CH do more things with a GT. The more people ask for it on various platforms the more likely it is to happen, I would think.

Greg Davis was great; Patrick Dempsey looked puzzled at times with the things he was saying and looks like a midget next to him! Shame they will have to cut out loads of stuff, but you couldn't broadcast it.

Living the dream, all thanks to Andy and the fantastic team at Ford. Most were at FoS on the stands, hope you managed to say hello.

I'll post some more details after it airs.

At this point I don't care too much :D I know I enjoy the car every time I drive it (and I drive it a lot more than I need to do aswell - that is saying something...)

The EB has more than enough power for me (used to sub 100hp cars so...) and the only thing I don't miss would be a the V8 rumble... then again, I have a cruisin' convertible and not a straight line drag king :D

What did we honestly expect from the numpty who thinks the Focus RS is great...

Is not so much that I'm upset about a bad review of the Mustang, I'm upset because it was a 'bad' review. Honestly no time spent on the car at all, brushed it aside like a new Honda Jazz review. Just went for the cheap cliche of mustangs meant to be hard work.

Pfft

Must be the only review that's ever criticised a car for going, stopping and handling well and being affordable! Need to check out Top Gear Extra for CH's view.

I didn't think it was a 'bad' review of the car as such. Would have preferred Chris Harris to have done it though. His YouTube review of the car is excellent and he's a proper driver.

I thought the shots of the mustang they did were excellent. The car really does look beautiful

If it puts people off buying one, great IMO.

Agreed, it was a badly put together review, I don't think we were watching an up and coming great car journo/presenter, my guess is he'll return to obscurity.

13.1mpg  how much fun was he really having?

Never mind, we'll see how bad it is on our own NC500 ;)

Put it down to one of Rory's first jobs for Top Gear.

Interesting to compare the "reimagined" MGB ( at 3 x the price of the Mustang) and the new Mustang. The problem is; the Mustang is too good. Of course if the brakes had been crap and the live axle had remained........... they'd have panned it anyway. I'll stick with Chris Harris' view.

Oh, the Porsche R. What a car.
As for the Mustang, not sure why some say it feels fast like Chris Harris and others say it doesn't like Rory Reid.

Because Chris Harris knows how to drive (and has a history of great cars to compare it to).
