Bit late to the party...finally watched episode 1 last night.

Not as bad as I thought it may be! If Chris Evans can calm the fu*k down and stop running around like a child I think I will grow to like it as much as the old one. Personally I like that they have tried to recreate the feel of the original program and kept the format. Certainly found it very watchable.

Evans and Le Blanc are both likable guys, but as others have said, they need to shake the habit of trying to be just like the old TG crew. Maybe that says more about the script than them but found it very obvious...

Didn't see the extra show so can't comment on that, but looks promising. Looking forward to watching the Hoonigan episode.

Mustang V8 5.0 GT DIB due sometime soon hopefully!
I think it has improved with each episode.

Evans was annoyingly shouty in episode one, but has seemed to calm down a fair bit since. LeBlanc is becoming more entertaining with each episode also. The slow introduction of the other contributors episode by episode is welcome too.

I like how its kept the same feel, but changed bits - like the star in a reasonably priced car lap etc.

Some if the segments could do with being a bit more interesting, the Blackpool bit in episode 1 was really dull. But all in all I'm growing to it, as the show seems to be growing into itself.

Its also nice not to have to listen to arrogant blokes spouting 'bantz' for the controversy of it, whilst sporting grotesque beer guts overflowing from terrible middle-aged-crisis clothing.

My cousin was at the filming of Sunday's episode today and they had the Mustang on for review. Keep an eye out :)

I was also at the filming yesterday, courtesy of Andy and the Ford team. I can confirm that Episode 6, main show and Extra will cover the Mustang.

I will not spill the beans until it's shown, but will add some interesting observations/ comments immediately afterwards.

Long day, arrived at a Dunsfold at 12 and didn't leave until gone 8!

Just to be clear; Episode 6 is next weekend and apparently may be moved if England get through in the Euros.

Oh, finally... Is this weeks worth an hour of my times, or should I just spend time jerking off with sandpaper - not sure which is more painful...

I sat through this week to see if it might have been on. Top Gear was just so boring. Unchallenging challenges, uncritical reviews. It's just a few guys driving few cars.

I'd get more out of standing on a motorway bridge for an hour.

No it isn't.
