Well.. Mustang was this week, with the Hoonicorn, but no S550 yet :O!

Didn't mind this weeks, didn't watch episode 2, hated episode 1, only watched todays for the hope of S550.

Agree with previous posts. Chris Harris and Rory Reid were eloquent and funny... two words you don't associate with Mr Evans.
I can provide words that <do> apply to him, although I believe the rules of this forum prevent cussing.

Just watched the latest episode, got to say, it was the best yet and augers well for the future. Even the celebrities in the car thing was good, very funny, probably more to do with who it was.

Great piece on the Ferrari and Focus and despite the bad press on the Hoonigan piece, previously, I thought it was brilliant, I really appreciate Ken Blocks' skills.

This series is looking up, I for one will stick with it :)

3rd show was the best one yet. Hoonicorn piece was good and thanks to the press the statue part was taken out and replaced with shots of buildings and hearing the sounds instead!! Also the press stories are crap anyway "Ruined someones wedding", they were extras and all staged for the filming

Chris Evans needs to go home and play with his Ferrari collection. He clearly can't drive because have you noticed it never stays on board with him and show any power slides etc. Replace him with Chris Harris please! Have always watched his videos, he knows his stuff and can definitely drive!!

Rory Reid "I would have this over a Ferrari, Porsche and Pagani" and that was about a Focus RS....JUST NO :frusty:

Probably because he can't afford either of the formerly mentioned cars, even on a finance deal, the latterly mentioned, he could probably on both.

In a real world you offer me a Pagani or a RS i'll bite your hand of for a Pagani lmao. Even if it were just to sell the car straight on .

But yes, this one was the best of the 3, but it's still a shadow of a show compared to previous series... Still heavily unsure of why evans is on it... BBC bum licking? Big 'Rari Collection? Annoying and gets people talking about a show (Bad publicity = good publicity)? Too frail to hit a producer?

Love the retro theme they have going on with the new 2018 4x4 sequential mustang. Mind you the interior looks like a step backward to me. Judging by the sparks from underneath I think the underseal may be too thinly applied.

The logic is this: With his TFI show Evans brought open studio format to UK TV. Clarkson's Top Gear format ripped it off (for a car show) in noughties. Evans is a car-guy (though no motor journalist - if that is a good thing), so....

Remember 'Don't Forget Your Toothbrush'? Pre TFI show hosted by Evans? That was brought to the UK by William G Stewart of '15 to 1' fame. Evans owes his career to that man.

Extra certainly worth a watch, Chris Harris mentioned the Mustang V8 again. I think he likes them after he did his own video some time ago. Perhaps Andy could invite him and Rory along to a future Mustang get together.

Ford certainly seem to be getting more air time on TG than anyone else.

My sources tell me that Mustang episode was moved, with studio filming now happening on the 23rd. Presumably that makes it Episode 5, probably to tie in with the outcome of Le Mans.

The last time I went to Dagenham it was in the late 70s for a school Economics trip and we saw them wheel spinning Cortinas off the end of the production line!
