Post up your brands, what you have in your arsenal which may helps others, what works & what does not... what you have rented from Auto Parts Stores, what is a “must have”, etc.

Don’t get into the politics of brand bashing... or knocking someone for what they use... sometimes cheaper works better than top of the line ‘go-for-broke’ tools...

So I’ll kick it off -

Craftsman 1/2 drive Torque Wrench... it’s the dial-in type, works great. It’s probably going on 15 years old now... was looking to maybe get a 3/8 drive...

Looking online, why are Torque wrenches soooo expensive now? Any recommendations for a 3/8 drive FT/LB and also maybe a good recommend for a IN/LB torque wrench for smaller jobs?

My automotive 6-point Standard and Metric air socket sets are the black “OEM” brand I bought at Auto Zone years ago... inexpensive, definitely not “top tier” to many DIYers or Techs, but tell you what - they still work as when new and not one has been damaged, cracked or broke through all the abuse and the many vehicles I’ve used them on -even when the going gets extremely rough....

The must haves:
1) BFSH (Big F’n Sledge Hammer - it works well)

2) Hand Held Torch
