Now I want to hear more about that

Basically, its mainly a problem in Germany with our free limits....what happens is that you put the pedal to the metal. Sometimes the unit will shift up too early at around 180 km/h to 6th gear, despite having much more to give in 5th. One can then also not do kickdown back to 5th. Makes no difference if you drive it in Sport, Sport + or whatever.

The update fixes this problem (although on mine it dosn't happen every time).

Is it the only thing that this update will correct or does it also gives some 'improvements' to the gear box, like less jolts between gears ? :headbonk:

Mine's very smooth (although not a patch on wife's Volvo nor my A6).

Oh btw, spoke to my dealer today. There is a new confirmed and available update for the automatic gearbox.

Will do mine when they make service and fit the Eibach springs :clap2:

Well, I think I'll to leave the car at the dealer for a LOT of updates

I did my service this week and asked to perform all available updates, unfortunately once the car was connected to the computer & etis the chief tech ordered my tech not to perform any software updates in a "if it ain't broke don't fix it manner" so I was kinda disappointed in that as I knew there are updates for the AT, steering and Sync2. They! said unless I had a complaint about something I could update the software to solve my complaint or issues... wtf.. I don't have 2 EB's to compare though!

Strange indeed, still wish they did the updates though. The long 3rd gear on the AT bothers me sometimes.

Mine sometimes changes up, while using full throttle, at 180 despite not having to and its impossible to get it to change down. No matter using kickdown or the paddles. Very annoying addle:

About a month after I was at the same cinema (actually I'm there about twice a week ) and when the movie finished I had a big surprise!!
That guy (of course the same guy - I can't believe that there are THREE mustangs around here..) parked next to mine!

We didn't meet.. I'm very curious to see if he noticed all the 'small' differences :clap2:

Two months after that day, I finally meet that mustang guy!! I was right, he was the same I have seen in another occasion at the same place
I was in a different place yesterday, not far from the usual cinema when I saw a red beauty with an horse on the front..! I approached and told him "Nice car!" and he "thanks! Were you at the cinema about two months ago??"
We stopped our cars and had a nice chat. He asked me first why mine has all those differences He lives in the beautiful Montalcino (60 km from me), that someone of you could probably know for the good wines produced there :cheers:
He also said that there's another guy with a triple yellow in Chiusi (50 km from him and 50 km from me), so my supposition that mine is the only one in a 50 km radius is still valid

It was fun and the first time I met someone by chance. :clap2:

Totally random spot during a holiday and sorry no pics as I wasn't expecting to see one at all.

White Convertible heading out of Pollenca on the Island of Majorca. It had the roof UP in 30 degree heat. But being a brit I have no concept that the weather could be too hot for the roof to be down.
